Privacy Policy
LawnQuote is local-first on iPhone. If online customer links or connected payment features are made available, it uploads only the records needed when you use them.
Local app records
The iOS app stores core business records on the operator's iPhone, including business profile details, customers, properties, quotes, jobs, notes, service catalog settings, pricing defaults, and job proof photos.
Online quote links and backend snapshots
If an operator uses an available customer quote link, payment request, payment sync, or connected payment feature, LawnQuote uploads the needed quote/payment snapshot to the backend. That can include business profile details, customer contact details, property addresses, quote line items, quote totals, payment status metadata, and Stripe identifiers.
LawnQuote uses this information only for the connected feature: syncing customer quote links, recording approvals, or showing payment state to the operator. We do not use it for third-party advertising or tracking.
Operators can choose to share anonymous pricing insights. When this is on, LawnQuote stores service type, country, currency, quantity, and price bands to help build future pricing guides. Customer names, contact details, and property addresses are not used for those guides.
Stripe payments
If connected payments are available and an operator chooses to use them, Stripe processes customer payment details for lawn-care service payments. LawnQuote does not store raw payment card details. LawnQuote stores only the payment status and Stripe identifiers needed to sync quote status back to the operator.
Product analytics
If you choose Allow in the analytics notice on the website, or turn on product analytics in iPhone Settings, LawnQuote records limited events such as a landing-page visit, an App Store link click, a first-run step, a price check, a customer preview, or PDF generation. It records a broad device category and a broad referrer category on the website, not the referring URL.
LawnQuote does not send customer names, contact details, property addresses, quote totals, service quantities, notes, message contents, raw URLs, or user-agent strings as analytics. On the website, a temporary random session token may be converted to a server-side hash so funnel steps can be counted without storing the token itself. On iPhone, an optional random app-scoped token is used only to estimate repeat quoting; it is separate from the LawnQuote account and only its server-side hash is stored. Choose No thanks on the website, or turn off the setting on iPhone, to stop future analytics. Turning off iPhone analytics also removes the local app token; historical event records already received are not deleted by that setting.
StoreKit purchases
Apple StoreKit and the App Store handle LawnQuote Pro purchases. LawnQuote may store entitlement and transaction identifiers needed to verify Pro access.
Account Deletion
Operators can delete their LawnQuote cloud account from Settings > Privacy & Data in the iOS app. This deletes the LawnQuote cloud account and quote/payment snapshots that LawnQuote is not legally required to keep. It does not automatically cancel an App Store subscription, Stripe account, or historical Stripe charges.
